I draft the tool pages with AI writing assistants, then check each one against the tool's code and against the sources cited at the bottom of the page. If a tool gives an estimate or has a limit, the page says so.
What the site is for
Small jobs such as resizing an image, merging a PDF, formatting some JSON or checking a loan calculation should not need an account, a download, or a copy of your file on someone else's server. Every tool here runs inside your browser, so the work happens on your device and your data stays with you.
Where it is heading
I want each page to work for three kinds of visitor: a person arriving from Google, an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude looking for an answer to quote, and someone who needs a correct result in a few seconds. Open the tab, and the tool should work.
How it started
The site began with a complaint: too many "free" online tools were slow, covered in pushy ads, locked behind paywalls, or uploaded private files to a server without saying so. Browsers can now resize images, edit PDFs, hash data and run conversions locally, so a server is not needed for that work. I built the tools one at a time and wrote up how each one works.
In September 2026 I cut the catalogue from 281 tools to 93. Duplicates were merged into one tool each, and novelty or rule-based "AI" tools were retired, so the site could focus on India personal-finance calculators and a short list of utilities that work well.

The site in numbers
Why the browser does the work
A typical online converter uploads your file, processes it on a server and sends it back. That takes longer, gives a stranger a copy of your file, and stops working when their server goes down. These tools use the browser's own features instead: the HTML5 Canvas, the File API, Web Crypto, and libraries such as pdf-lib and PDF.js. The work happens where your file already is, which is faster and keeps it private.
