How NineClip Free Tools handles data. The site is built so that your files never reach us.

Files and text you use in the tools are processed in your browser and never sent to us, so we keep no copies. The site uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity for aggregate usage figures; they set their own cookies. Your theme choice is the only thing stored locally.
Overview
The files and text you process with these tools stay in your browser. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. This page explains how that works and lists the small amount of data that any website involves.
Browser-based processing
The tools use client-side web technologies (HTML5 Canvas, the File API, Web Crypto, and libraries such as pdf-lib and PDF.js) to do their work on your device. When you pick a file or paste text, your browser reads it into memory, processes it there, and gives you the result to download or copy. Your content is never uploaded to a server, written to a database, or logged.
No file storage
Because the processing is local, we have nothing to store. Your inputs and outputs exist only in your browser tab, and closing or refreshing the tab discards them. We keep no copies.
Cookies and local storage
The site saves one preference in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme. The analytics services below set their own cookies, and so would an advertising provider if ads are added. You can clear all of these in your browser settings at any time.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to see, in aggregate, which pages people use and where they get stuck. These services set their own cookies. They never receive your files or tool inputs, because those never leave your device.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
The site shows no ads today. If advertising is added, it may include Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads to you based on those visits. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data a service holds about you. We do not collect or store your files and run no user accounts, so we hold almost no personal data about you. Send any privacy question to hello@nineclip.com.
Children
The tools are general-purpose utilities and are not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change as the site changes. Any material change will appear here with a new "last updated" date.
