How we handle data on NineClip Free Tools — in short, we are built so we never receive your files.

Overview
Your privacy is the foundation of this site, not an afterthought. The core promise is simple: the files and text you process with our tools are handled entirely within your browser and are never transmitted to us or anyone else. This page explains that in detail and covers the limited data that any website inevitably involves.
Browser-based processing
Our tools use client-side web technologies (HTML5 Canvas, the File API, Web Crypto, and libraries such as pdf-lib and PDF.js) to perform their work directly on your device. When you select a file or paste text, it is read into your browser's memory, processed locally, and the result is offered back to you for download or copy. At no point is your content uploaded to a server, written to a database, or logged.
No file storage
Because processing is local, we have nothing to store. Your inputs and outputs exist only in your browser tab and are discarded when you close or refresh it. We keep no copies.
Cookies & local storage
We use a minimal amount of browser local storage to remember preferences such as your light/dark theme choice. Advertising and analytics providers (see below) may set their own cookies. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are popular and where to improve, in aggregate. Analytics never has access to your files or tool inputs, because those never leave your device.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data a service holds about you. Since we do not collect or store your files and keep no user accounts, we hold essentially no personal data about you. For any privacy question, email hello@nineclip.com.
Data protection for children
Our tools are general-purpose utilities and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
