Open Graph Generator
Generate Open Graph meta tags so your page shows a proper title, description and image when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and more. Fill four fields and copy the block.
Fill in your page title, description, keywords and author, and the tool writes a block of HTML head meta tags you can paste, with the title, description, viewport and robots tags included. The block updates as you type.

Your browser is preparing the tool. It runs 100% locally.
Type a page title, meta description, keywords and author, and the tool outputs the matching HTML head tags: a title tag, a meta description, a viewport tag and a robots index, follow tag, plus keywords and author tags if you fill those fields. It escapes everything for HTML and updates as you type. Note that it includes the keywords meta tag for completeness, though Google has ignored that tag since 2009. The tool runs in your browser.
Enter your details and copy the generated block into the head of your page. You always get a title tag, a meta description, a viewport tag (width=device-width, initial-scale=1) and a robots tag set to index, follow. The keywords and author tags appear only if you fill those fields. The tool escapes special characters in your text so the markup stays valid.
It formats tags and does not analyse them, so it will not score your title length or count your description. You give it four plain inputs and it writes the head tags and attributes for you.
As you type, the tool builds the tags in a fixed order and HTML-escapes each value. Ampersands, angle brackets and quotes become entities, so a stray character in your title cannot break the markup or the page around it. It drops empty optional fields, so you never paste a blank keywords or author tag.
The tool adds the viewport and robots tags every time because nearly every page needs them. The viewport tag makes the page render correctly on phones, and index, follow tells search engines they may index the page and follow its links. Both are standard defaults.

meta viewport: width=device-width, initial-scale=1 (always)
meta robots: index, follow (always)The tool leaves out the keywords and author tags when their fields are blank. It always adds the viewport and robots tags.

The tool generates the keywords meta tag if you fill the field, but Google has ignored that tag for ranking since 2009 and Bing can read it as a spam signal. It is there for completeness and for older systems, and you can leave the field blank.
The tool does not check your title or description length. Search engines show roughly 50 to 60 characters of a title and about 155 of a description before cutting them off, and Google often rewrites titles, so put the important words first. Use a counter or SERP preview to check fit.
The robots tag is always index, follow. If a page should stay out of search, change that tag to noindex yourself after pasting, because the tool has no toggle for it.
The output is a flat block of head tags without Open Graph or Twitter Card tags. Social previews need those, and separate generators make them.
The tool escapes values, so a character like an ampersand appears as its entity in the output. That is correct HTML, and the browser shows the original character.
Generate the main head tags for a new page without typing each one by hand.
Fill the head of a hand-coded or templated page quickly and consistently.
See which tags belong in the head and how each one is written.
Produce a correct meta description or robots tag to drop into an existing page.
For social share previews, use the Open Graph and Twitter Card generators. To check length or see how the result looks in Google, use a SERP snippet preview or meta description counter. For structured data, use a schema generator.
The tool writes the standard head tags with your input HTML-escaped. It adds the keywords meta tag only when you fill that field, and this page says plainly that Google has ignored keywords since 2009.
